Jest takie jedno miejsce do którego mam wielokrotny sentyment.

Po pierwsze dlatego, że ma ogromną ścianę z szyby, z widokiem na Planty (park otaczający Stare Miasto)

Po drugie dlatego, że jak pierwszy raz tam przyszłam, to patrząc na ceny, nie obiecywałam sobie zbyt wiele. Tymczasem… do dziś mnie zaskakują. Jeszcze nie spróbowałam całego menu, ale jak dotąd, każde danie śniadaniowe (naleśnik z serem, tak puszystym, słodkim twarożkiem, że się może śnić nad ranem, przed śniadaniemJ) jak i obiadowe (moim faworytem są pierogi z soczewicą) było dla mnie zaskoczeniem: było o poziom albo dwa lepsze, niż się spodziewałam, nawet już wtedy, gdy wiedziałam, że tam szanują jakość dań.

Po trzecie dlatego, że to budynek NOT-u, a krzesła, nawiązując do historii tego miejsca, są ilustrowane rysunkami kreślarskimi. Jakby człowiek ocierał się o dawną pracownię architektoniczną…

Po czwarte dlatego, że na ścianie jest umieszczona półka z książkami. Nie wiem, czy biorą udział w bookcrossingu (www.bookcrossing.pl), czy to tylko element stałego designu. Jednak wkrótce pójdę  się dowiedzieć, dla Was i dla siebie, czy można tam buszować i bookcrossingować.

There is a place that I feel “multiplied” sentiment toward it.

First, because there is a huge wall of glass in this place, with view on Planty (the park that surrounds the Old City).

Second, because when I fist came in and read menu and prices I didn't expect much. Meanwhile... they still surprise me. I have not tasted the whole menu yet, but so far every breakfast (a panecake with cottage cheese, light as a cloud, like a sweet dream in the morning, just before a breakfast) and every lunch (my favoritte meal is dumplings with lentils - sounds strange? Just taste it!) were surprice for my: it was one or two classes beter than I had expected. Even then when I had already knew they cared of the quality of meals.

Third, because it is NOT building (Chief Thechnical Organization) and the chairs, corresponding with the history of the place, have been illustrated with technical drawings. It is like touching the atmosphere of oldfashioned architectural office...

Forth, because the shelf full of books hangs on the wall. I do not know whether they take part in bookcrosing action (www.bookcrossing.com), or  it is a part of design. Soon I will go and ask, for You and me, whether it is possible to romp among the books and exchange the books also.

Het is zo'n plek waarbij ik meerdere positieve gevoelens heb.

Ten eerste omdat je naar buiten kijkt door een enorm groot glazen venster als naar een theater scene. Op het podium, net voor je ogen, paraderen allerlei figuren, de achtergrond is groen - Planty - het park, dat de Oude Stad omringt.

Ten tweede omdat de prijzen me nog steeds verbazen. Ze beloven geen top kwaliteit maar niets is minder waar. Ik heb nog lang niet alle menu keuzes uitgeprobeerd, maar tot nu toe geeft elk ontbijt of lunch gerecht me een aangename verassing. Over de pannenkoeken met luchtige zoete kwark droom ik lang voor mijn ontbijt. Tot mijn favoriete lunch gerecht behoort ravioli gevuld met linzen. Klinkt vreemd? Proef maar een keertje!

Ten derde omdat het restaurant zich in het voormalige NOT (vereniging van technici) gebouw bevindt. De stoelen zijn versierd met technische tekeningen die verwijzen naar de geschiedenis van deze plek. Je schurkt tegen de nostalgische sfeer aan van oude architecten bureaus uit de tijden waarin het tekenwerk nog handmatig uitgevoerd werd.

Ten vierde omdat op de muur een boekenplank is geplaatst. Ik weet niet of ze meedoen met bookcrossing of dat het alleen een vast design element is, maar ik ga daar naar vragen, voor mijzelf en ook voor jullie.
